2025 is almost over. What will you take from this year and what do you need going forward? It's been a hell of a year. Now is a good time to stop and reflect.
Remember that order comes from chaos. Find ways to ground when everything feels chaotic and hold on. This too, shall pass. I invite you to put your focus into what needs to be birthed in the coming years. Put energy into creation and what will support in times to come. Spend less energy on those systems that are falling down. Let's not waste precious energy on trying to hold up the status quo. This is a time for new beginnings. Do give yourself time to grieve.
We are the most adaptable species on this planet and yet, change is hard and scary for so many of us. We resist it. And this causes suffering. Like it or not, change is one thing in life we can count on. Many try to control their surroundings, or other people, in order to feel safe. I have secret to tell you. That doesn't work. A feeling of emotional safety comes from within. Let me show you how to get there.
We cannot plan for every possible scenario. We can strengthen ourselves. Learn to self soothe. Build confidence. Increase resilience. Collect and share knowledge. Strength is knowing that you will be okay no matter what happens.

I love to learn and grow. That has been, and continues to be, a consistent part of my life's path. I've been lucky enough to work in a variety of industries and settings, live in a number of places, and explore different interests on my journey to find my true calling. Helping others learn how to be more present in their own lives and learn how to love themselves is my true calling.
I earned a bachelor degree in chemistry with a minor in Spanish in 1994 and worked in corporate America for both large and small companies. In 2004, I began doing a significant amount of volunteer work with elders and the dying, which significantly broadened my perspectives on life. In 2013, I earned my doctorate in clinical psychology and worked in community health. In 2016, I became independently licensed and opened my own psychology practice.
In 2024, I made some major life changes in order to prioritize healthy aging and overall quality of life. One of these changes was to inactivate my psychology license so that I could operate from a humanistic framework rather than a clinical one. As a consultant and mentor, I can also work with people anywhere.
I work individually with adults of all ages. I do not work with persons under 18 years old. Appointments are typically 60 minutes, although I can do 75 or 90 minutes by request. I work both via phone or video. If you are local to Palisade, Clifton, or Grand Junction, I can do in person sessions and will come to you.
My standard fee is $150/hour for single sessions.
Packages of 5 sessions can be purchased for $675 ($135/hour)
Packages of 10 sessions for $1200 ($120/hour) are also available.
Payment is due at the end of each session unless other arrangements have been made. I accept cash and credit cards. Please note that I charge an extra fee to process credit card payments. I also accept payment via Zelle and Venmo. I am also open to discussions about barter.
Use the form below to email me or leave a message at (928) 215-1039. Let's set up a time to talk; typically 20-30 minutes (no charge) to see if it makes sense to book an appointment. If we are not a good fit, I'm happy to direct you to someone who might be.
Thank you for visiting my site. Wishing you a lovely day!
